It's twelve o'clock and do you know what your congressman is doing?
Keeping track of how your congressperson voted can be a daunting task. The Library of Congress's THOMAS has been around for years, but it is difficult to find recorded votes unless you know the exact bill number. Now there is a new website that has made keeping track of congress and your representative a whole more user friendly.
OpenCongress.org has bill descriptions and procedures written in plain English -- so you can readily understand what is going on. You can search bills by issue, representative, industry or most recent. One of the niftier features of the site are the RSS feeds of all Representatives. Plug a congressman's feed into your RSS aggregator or a good browser like Firefox and you will be able to keep tabs on what you congressman is doing every day. Here is a sample feed for representative Ellen Tauscher [D CA-10-].
